Appliance Part Center - Whirlpool, Maytag, General Electric (GE) & Electrolux Parts

Appliance Part Center Please visit www.washerbearings.com/parts to order replacement parts other than tub bearings and seal.   If you own (or know someone who owns) a Maytag Neptune front load you need to check out Neptune Help to see if your machine has the defective door latch wax motor installed.

You can prevent a $350 repair bill as well as washer down time by proactively replacing your wax motor before it fails and causes the famous no spin issue...

Do it now!

Until next time...

Jeff,

You are the MAN!!! You probably just saved me about $455 (that's a $500 service call minus the $45 I paid you for the Stage I kit). Having a front load Maytag MAH4000 with the door lock/no spin problem, I consulted your web site. Ordered kit evening of June 1, kit shipped June 2, arrived June 4, installed R11, Q6 and wax motor afternoon of June 4, washer working again June 4. Happy wife. Thanks for the solder wick (never used one before). The new light bulb is a nice touch. How did you know? I'm sure I'll be ordering the rotor bearing kit before too long.

Jeff,

You are the MAN!!! Had a broken Maytag front loader MAH4000 series. No door lock, no spin. Saw your web site Wednesday, June 1. Ordered Stage I kit that evening. You shipped on June 2. Kit arrived Saturday, June 4. Installed R11, Q6 and wax motor same day. Machine now working. Happy wife. Solder wick worked well (never used one before). New light bulb is a nice touch. How did you know? Thanks for saving me a big big bill. I'll probably be ordering the rotor kit before too long. Thanks again.

Hi Paul,
Yes, the STAGE 1 repair kit plus wax motor has easily saved Neptuner's over 1 million dollars in repair bills when you consider the average repair is $450 for the door latch wax motor failure. Thanks for the update!

What's even more important is that Neptuner's can proactively replace their door latch wax motor before it damages the Q6 triac and R11 resistor on the machine control board!

If you have a Maytag Neptune front load washer with a timer knob (non digital) the go to Neptune Help to replace your door latch wax motor before it fails. There is a video that shows you how to inspect your door latch to see if you have the faulty wax motor with brown colored actuator tip.

Until next time...

Problem... The door on the Neptune does not want to close easily. You have to slam it 1-10 times for it to close. The door latches and never misses a cycle after it closes. Is their an alignment possible?

Hi, you did not mention which model you have but a worn door hoop can cause your problem as well as a worn out door latch assembly.

Contact me at neptunewasher@gmail.com with your model and serial and I can halp you.
