I visited Ek Balam on April 22, 2013 when I was in Cancun and enjoyed the all day trip! I recommend everyone visiting Ek Balam when you are in Cancun, Mexico.
The resort I visit had this trip as one of three house tours I could choose from and it also included a stop in a Mayan village for lunch (with homemade tortillas) and a swim in a 120 ft sink hole that was 66°. Boy, that wakes you up!
