Fleetwood Mac in Columbus - It was a great concert!

Hi Neptuners,

I would not say that I am a die hard F.M. fan but I really enjoyed the show last night. Those folks can still shake the rafters and sound good while doing it! We were in section 102, row Y at the Nationwide Arena among a full house of fans. We must have been in front of a bank of speakers because the decibels were really cranking.

I have to say that Lindsey Buckingham's pickless style of guitar playing was really impressive... I wonder if he would help on my third Neptune song? Hold on... Let's publish the second Neptune song first! Lindsey broke out and really played some great solo guitar sometimes banging on the guitar and looked like he was very pleased after the song was finished from the expressions on his face.

Let's say mick fleetwood can really play the drums as I was looking forward to the Tusk song which has a unique drum pattern. I did not realize how well Mick could play as I am not a avid fan of F.M.

The rhythm section was not complete until we talk about the tightness between Mick and bassist John McVie. What is the matter John McVie? You need a website?

It was great to see Stevie Nicks live for the first time, too! I've seen her in videos but never live. Stevie was awesome! She has a unique flowing way about her while she is performing? Watching her eyes makes you wonder if she is really there but she sounded great. Someone in the front row area was trying to hand her a bouquet of flowers during the whole show. Finally, Lindsey picked them up and handed them to Stevie towards the end of the show.

Some of my favorites they played:

Gypsy
Rhiannon
Second Hand News
Tusk
Sara
Landslide
Gold Dust Woman
Oh Well
Stand Back
Go Your Own way

They finished the show with Silver Springs after the second Encore.

What a show it was! Tickets were $160 each with the Ticket Master fee, Oh Well.

Until next time...

The New Neptune Song is just about ready...

I can hear the excitement building about the new Maytag Neptune Song. The www.neptunehelpsong.com already has 675 hits the last time I checked.

I will give you a few hints:

1. It will be placed on my http://www.neptunebearing.com/ site.
2. I will post a poll on this blog so you can vote on it.
3. It will have a faster tempo and have a cajone which adds a nice sound.

In case you are wondering... Here is a cajon you can look at:

The New Neptunehelp.com Song is really sounding great!

Hi Neptuners,

I wanted to touch base with you and say the Neptune song I am having created is sounding very good. I received a sample of the first verse today and I was really impressed with it and I think you will love it too. As a matter of fact... it keeps playing in my mind!

Once the songs are complete I will post a link to the songs. Songs you ask? I wanted to have two slightly different versions and let you vote on the one that you prefer. The version that wins will be the official song for www.neptunehelp.com. Tell all of your family and friends about the voting and let's see how many votes we can rack up!

New Maytag Neptune Song for you Neptuners

Hi Neptuners!

I wanted to get something off of my chest...

I am creating a new novelty song about the Maytag Neptune no spin due to the defective door latch wax motor issue.

Check back often to see if I posted the link to the song.

Actually, I'm planning on creating two songs and you get to vote on which one you like the best.

Two things I know for sure...

1) They will be funny :>)
2) I won't be singing! (I'll stick to performing my other talents)

It has been a long road but it looks like I will finally get my song. I will tell you the story of the hurdles I had to jump through to get this song created after the winning version is determined by your voting.
